This Christmas, celebrate some Good Newwz with the Batra's!
Recently we got to see the trailer of newly concept Bollywood movie named Good Newwz and as the trailer suggests it perfectly suits its tagline “The Goof up of the year”.
First of all, the star cast to this movie is apt and it seems all the characters have been played their respective role their best. The chemistry between Akshay Kumar(Kabir) and Kareena Kapoor Khan(Shruti) was always a treat to watch and it will be good to watch them after Kambakhtt Ishq. There is also a fresh pair cast namely Diljith Dosanjh(Honey) and Kiara Advani(Monika) and both look adorable.
The trailer shows the ups and downs in the love life of a married pair played by Akshay Kumar (as Kabir Batra) and Kareena Kapoor Khan (as Shruti Batra). While Shruti is having an urge to begin the planning of a child in their life whereas Kabir is not so focused on that. It displays the differences they are facing in their sex life due to which they are not seeing any results.
The doctors suggest them to go for In Vitro Fertilisation(IVF) which is the process of combining the male’s sperm and female’s egg externally and putting into female’s womb. Everything should go well after this but here comes the entry of new Batra couples played by Diljith (as Honey Batra) and Kiara (as Monika Batra) who are also facing the same problem in their love and sex life.
The biggest goof up starts when the hospital administration accidentally exchanges the Kabir’s sperm with Honey’s sperm which creates the Batra goof-up case. As now Shruti is having Honey’s sperm and Monika is having Kabir’s sperm. This biggest goof-up creates the rivalry between Batra families and it shows the perspective of both the family.
Kabir and Shruti want to drop the baby whereas Honey and Monika are reluctant to this. The trailer shows the essence of this critical situation in a comic way and overall I would say that the trailer has convinced the audience to see the serious situation through a comic angle. The trailer also shows the emotional side of both the families and it has appropriately made the audience curious to know what will happen at the end. So, this was an overview of the storyline suggested by the trailer.
Coming on the technical front, I would like to say that Raj Mehta, the Director has shown a great balance between their stupendous cast. Each character has own individual frame and timings and all the characters display a great screen presence. The screenplay looks good and promising. The background music in the trailer is very catchy and for such films, the background score is very important and looking forward to the songs of the film. Kudos to the writer, Jyoti Kapoor as she has successfully bonded the emotional storyline with the touch of comedy and Dharma Productions as usual best in the business. The most attraction of the film is definitely the stupendous star cast. The trailer shows the movie is surely a must-watch.
